Con-Secuencias Magazine

Revista Con-Secuencias was created as a space of expression for independent intellectuals who, from diverse backgrounds, share the goal of building a more equitable, sustainable, inclusive and safe country, based on consensus that benefits society as a whole.

It is not a platform for criticism without purpose, but a forum where opinions and analysis must be based on rational and ethical solutions. The magazine seeks to learn from the past and present to foresee and solve future problems, prioritizing proposals that promote changes in favor of the historically marginalized majorities, with the conviction that this will lead to national development.

CON-SECUENCIAS is supported by the University of El Salvador and adopts its motto, Towards Freedom through Culture, reflecting the commitment to critical thinking and the construction of a more just and prosperous nation.

 

Nuevo Enfoque Publishing House

Editorial Nueva Enfoque is the entity in charge of the official distribution of the research papers and opinion articles of Revista Con-secuencias. This publishing house was created with the exclusive purpose of guaranteeing the effective dissemination of the magazine's contents, assuring that it reaches a wide and diverse audience.

The existence of Nueva Enfoque responds to the need to consolidate a specialized channel that preserves the quality and academic rigor of Con-secuencias, facilitating access to research and critical analysis in different formats and platforms. With this, we reaffirm our commitment to the dissemination of knowledge and the promotion of critical thinking in society.

 

Forum for Reflection on Salvadoran Reality (FORES)

FORES is the entity in charge of promoting a rigorous analysis and constructive deliberation on the socio-political reality of El Salvador, based on reliable data, historical facts and criteria of sociological-political rationality.

It is an independent entity, without links to political parties or movements, which seeks to interpret the country's reality in order to promote a profound transformation of its political, economic and social structures, in favor of the historically disadvantaged majorities.

FORES calls on the Salvadoran and international intelligentsia to overcome confrontation in the public debate and generate inspiring proposals to build a democratic state that guarantees integral human development and respect for social, economic, cultural and political rights.

It is committed to promoting an agenda based on sustainable development, gender equality, circular economy, human rights and the deepening of democracy. To this end, it will develop reflection sessions, meetings with decision-makers and publications that contribute to understanding the national reality and propose viable solutions.
